SHOWCASE OF VR AND VIDEO GAMES

As always, PlayUK will also bring fun to wider audiences. The final days of the event will be dedicated to an interactive showcase which will consist of the latest creative artistic video games from the UK. Audiences of all ages will have the opportunity to learn about them, test them and play the games for free! The games will be set in exhibition format so even the people who are not generally into gaming will be able to enjoy.

Among others, the showcase will include games like the double-ended physics dog adventure PHOGS!, the third-person stealth hacking game Off Grid, and the atmospheric adventure game set inside a Japanese pop-up book TENGAMI. Take a look:

The Third Day

The third day is a VR installation & novel which is growing as it tours. In the novel each chapter is one page long and selected chapters exist additionally as a VR installation chapters.

Phogs!

PHOGS! takes you and a friend on a double-ended physics dog adventure in a vibrant and colourful world filled with puzzles to solve and strange creatures to help.

Photographs

Five interwoven tragic stories, search beautiful dioramas for clues, each story contains a set of puzzles which tell the story. Solve the mystery and write your own ending.

Off Grid

Off Grid is a 3rd person stealth hacking game where data is your most powerful weapon. Off Grid forgoes combat for hacking tools and ingenuity.

Tengami

Tengami is an atmospheric adventure game set inside a Japanese pop-up book.

Garden 2

A VR installation with real world elements, Garden2 is a meditation on the relationship between the natural and the digital.

Normal for Norman?

Normal for Norman is a short, narrative VR game, an experience exploring memory and narrative in virtual reality.

PAAAAAHHHHNG!

Players face off literally as they try and knock each out of the competition. This familiar gamespace evolves and mutates quickly, forcing players to adapt in order to stay in the running.
