Coding Challenge 2020
The Challenge aims to reach children across the country and inspire young people to solve real-life problems in their schools and communities using physical computing. The Challenge will use the BBC micro:bit device to allow children to come up with a project to respond to Sustainable Development Goals and explore solutions on the issues they face in their everyday life.
Coding Challenge 2020 is open for all 10 to 15 year-old students from the schools who have participated in the first cycle of the 21st Century Schools programme. List of the schools eligible to participate can be found in the Annex 1 in the download section at the bottom of this page. This competition will have two rounds (online and face to face) in order to determine who are the National coding competition winners, who will have a chance to participate in the Regional coding competition.
This competition will align with the EU Code . The Coding Challenge is organized in partnership with the Ministry of Education. The applications for the competition are officially closed.
