IMPORTANT - What do I need to have with me on the day of my examinations?
You must bring with you:
- The ID document you used during registration – Passport or Albania National ID card, otherwise you will NOT be allowed to enter the examination hall. All documents must be valid and undamaged.
Please note that your ID card/Passport will be photographed by Test Centre Staff on the test day and securely archived for 3 years.
If you do not remember which one you used for registration – and you have both documents – you are advised to bring both documents. In case you lost the document used for registration you must inform us in writing and send a verified photocopy of the new document by email at least 3 working days before the day of the examination. Please note that we will not accept other types of documents like driving license, photocopy of National ID cards or passport, health insurance book, etc.

*Candidates without the same ID used for the registration will not be allowed to enter the test room and no refund/transfer will be given, as outlined in the T&C accepted upon registering for the test.
WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE EXAMINATION ROOM?
Any bags, wallets and electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, tablets, etc. are NOT permitted inside the test room and will be kept OUTSIDE (either safely locked or supervised). This also applies to your watches – you will be asked to leave them with your belongings aswell.
If it comes to our attention that you have with you in the examination room – in either written or speaking tests – any of the above, you will be
immediately disqualified, and you will not receive a Test Report Form.
British Council will not take the responsibility of safekeeping of such devices and will not be responsible if they are lost.
RESULTS
You may collect your Test Report Form at the British Council in Tirana by presenting the same identity document you did during the test. If you live outside of Tirana and want us to send your TRF via mail, please contact us at examsalbania@britishcouncil.org and send us your mailing address.
IELTS results will not be disclosed over the phone or through email.
Results on the web
IELTS results will be released 7 days after the test and you will be able to check them online through your Test Taker portal.
You will receive an automatic notification upon their being released.
