You can cancel your test registration before 14 calendar days from the day of booking. You will receive a full refund and no administration fee will apply.
Alternatively, you can move your test date free of charge to any other available time. Please note, that the new test date must be within 4 weeks of the original date.
If you receive a transfer to a new test date but do not show up on the second test date, you will not receive a refund. You can request to transfer your test date only once.
If you cancel less than 14 days after your registration but no later than 5 working days prior to the test date, you will receive a refund minus 25% administration fee.
If you cancel your test registration less than 5 working days before your test date, you will not be entitled to a refund or a transfer to another test date.
Test Taker Exceptions
If you need to transfer or cancel your test due to exceptional circumstances, you may do so by notifying your test centre prior to the testing date and providing Supporting Documentation. Exceptional circumstances include:
- serious medical conditions which prevent you from attending or performing normally on test day
- bereavement, trauma, or other forms of significant hardship
If your test centre approves your exception, you will receive a full refund less an administration fee of 25% of the test fee. If not, the standard Transfer/Cancellation Policy above will apply.
To be considered for a Test Taker Exception, please indicate your reason clearly on the form and attach official evidence, such as a medical certificate from a qualified medical practitioner, death certificate, police station report. Supporting evidence must be received by your test centre no later than 5 days after the scheduled test date.
Please note, if the Test Centre is forced to cancel your test for reasons due to, but not limited to, COVID-19 safety concerns, government pandemic restrictions or extreme weather conditions, you will be given the choice of:
- a free transfer to another test date
- a full refund
